Where we are
Forest Edge Cabin is just 10 minutes south of Bridgetown, Western Australia’s only Heritage-listed town, and is close to the beautiful native forests of south-western WA.
From the verandah, you will have great views over forest and rolling hills and can share the peace and solitude with visiting kangaroos, emus and birdlife.
Forest Edge Cabin is centrally located:
Balingup is 19 minutes away – visit the Golden Valley Tree Park, Jinderbox and wear your own medieval gear at the Medieval Carnivale.
Manjimup is 20 minutes away – visit the Heritage Park and the museum, swim at Fonty’s Pool, go fishing or climb the Diamond Tree;
Nannup is 35 minutes away – great for mountain hiking or walking next to the river. Visit during the Tulip Festival; and
Margaret River is 1 hour 20 minutes away to enjoy a swim, surf and some wine.

Bush walk trails start from the front gate of Forest Edge Cabin.
Watch stunning sunsets from the rustic surrounds of the cabin.
The nearby Blackwood River is great for birdwatching, canoeing and kayaking, and the 5.5km Geegelup Heritage Walk Trail.
The view to the West from the comfortable chairs on the ridge. A favourite spot any time of the day, but especially at sunset.
There's an outdoor dining area in a shady spot under mature trees.
View to the east, from the cabin.
